Mogian competition record
Scott “Pho King” Elliott grew up in Mogian and trained in Mugo-style wrestling. He represented the Tower of Noodles network channel and restaurant chain, an institution that trains and sponsors Mugo wrestlers.
Scott entered the TWL Historical Archive through TWL’s acquisition of the Tower of Noodles network. The acquisition was designed to energize TWL wrestling with Mugo talent while bringing cooking and musical competition into the programming lineup.
TWL Press Release“Cooking and Music are Wrestling!”
Both participants prepare their hottest specialized noodle bowl and present it to a panel of judges. The winner of the Heat earns one point.
The competitors meet in a musical contest called the Rhythm. Its winner earns one point before the wrestling begins.
The Mugi squat facing one another, throw purifying noodles, and mutually touch their fists to the ground before launching into the explosive opening collision of the wrestling match.
Each wrestling round awards one point when a Mugi forces the opponent out of the circular clay ring or makes them touch the ground with anything other than the soles of their feet. The first contestant to reach Nibble—four points—wins.
