Equipment 01 · Controlled impact system
Arc
Shinai
Jonas carries two NeonTek Arc Shinai mounted along the sides of the Continuity Vault. Built as advanced kendo-style sticks, each combines flexible synthetic slats, a reinforced impact spine, a nonconductive biometric grip, contact sensors, local charge storage, and variable electrostun output.
The pair can be used singly, together, or two-handed. Their output ranges from a warning spark through muscular interruption and incapacitation, while retaining full manual impact function if the electronics fail. Jonas’s doctrine prioritizes de-escalation, civilian extraction, restraint, and protection of defeated opponents; emergency maximum output is reserved for an immediate threat to life.

Equipment 02 · Continuity interface
ClearSight
Optics
ClearSight Continuity Optics are Jonas’s clear, streamlined operational interface and his default face-visible mode. The transparent lenses tint automatically against glare, flash, bright energy, and environmental threats, while a protected hardline connection along the collar and upper spine links them to the Continuity Vault.
The optics support mapping, route projection, structural-hazard recognition, low-light and thermal enhancement, atmospheric warnings, biometrics, communications, archive retrieval, baseline comparison, identity-record review, and continuous recording. They do not see perfectly through solid structures, produce infallible conclusions, or provide projectile targeting; their accuracy remains limited by available records, environmental conditions, and the integrity of the Vault connection.

Equipment 03 · Burden archive
Continuity
Vault
The Continuity Vault is a tall, heavy, asymmetrical archive and command pack assembled from mixed-era hardware, repaired modules, exposed conduits, manual latches, and a protected ClearSight interface. It preserves casualty and survivor records, distress calls, evacuation requests, emergency authorizations, failed routes, maps, infrastructure dependencies, recovery records, baseline comparisons, and Jonas’s private annotations.
A sealed long-duration core can support roughly thirty years of ordinary operation for the Vault, optics, sensors, communications, mapping, and emergency systems. Its body-direct harness stabilizes the pack during climbing, impact, grappling, and travel—but does not make it lighter. Before the burden release it reads as a private sentence; afterward, the same physical weight becomes a shared continuity record and restoration tool.
Equipment 04 · Three-phase deployment
JAG-U-AR
Tactical Helmet
The Jumbotron-Articulated Unified Augmented Reality system is a one-of-a-kind NeonTek prototype built around—not in place of—the ClearSight optics. Jonas remains open-faced during ordinary operations, deploying the close-fitted helmet for combat, breach, contamination, environmental danger, and other high-threat conditions. Its jaguar-derived geometry recalls his historical wrestling identity without reproducing the arena mask as costume.

The system protects the environment, communications, sensor alignment, and augmented-reality display. It grants no powers, superhuman perception, moral certainty, or independent judgment.

Equipment 05 · Kinetic protection
Bastion
Weave
The NeonTek Bastion Kinetic Weave—Prototype BK-01—is a one-of-a-kind full-body armored textile tuned to Jonas’s DNA and biometrics. It moves like dense cloth while resisting abrasion, blades, ordinary puncture, moderate environmental extremes, electrical discharge, and blunt impact. Local stiffening protects the body without sacrificing the mobility needed for grappling, lifting, and Arc Shinai technique.
Piezoelectric fibers, movement-harvesting joints, impact-recovery layers, and responsive artificial muscle store mechanical energy rather than relying on an onboard battery. Assistance can approach twice Jonas’s normal functional strength, but remains limited by his body, fatigue, heat, traction, stored reserve, and structural conditions. When depleted, the weave remains protective but provides less assistance; it is finite equipment, not QGP, invulnerability, or bulky power armor.
Descriptions are adapted from the current controlled Jonas Ward equipment standards in the TWL Character Design Bible. The equipment remains finite, repairable technology and does not replace Jonas Ward’s judgment, responsibility, or humanity.
